Presentation Description: Helping Others with Horticultural Therapy\
Many of us have experienced the calming influence of nature or gardening, but not everyone may be familiar with horticultural therapy. In this discussion, we will explore what horticultural therapy is and the incredible impact that plants can have on our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Melissa will also explain how and why she uses horticultural therapy techniques in her programs with participants, especially with the help of herbs. Lastly, we will even try these techniques ourselves.
