This presentation intends to expose the ‘dirt’ on soil, through application of simplified science, analogies and referencing Natural processes. The intended outcome will be a distilled list of best management practices. To help with this reveal, mulching, fertilization and soil pH will be among the topics for cross-examination.

Soils information is normally on the nightstand as bedtime reading for insomniacs. However, you’re urged to bring an open mind and you should take home some ‘news’ to up your gardening game. Don’t be surprised if your sustainability practices also get a nudge in the right direction.
